Client Case Study: MQI Canada

1 The Problem
A national community organisation runs conferences, gatherings and campaigns all year across Canada, each with different speakers, venues and audiences, and every event photographed and filmed from start to finish. All of it has to stay recognisably one organisation.
2 Our Approach
We design the Canada chapters’ work inside one visual family: the conference flyer series, large-format stage backdrops artworked at full print scale, campaign wall panels, community appeal flyers and the Minhaj School of Canada certificate system, produced season after season.
MQI Canada is the Canadian chapter of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, a national community organisation. The Design PK designs its event and campaign work across Canada, flyers, backdrops, wall campaigns and print, season after season, inside one recognisable visual family.
Scope of work
- Conference and event flyer series โ dozens of events across Canada
- Large-format stage backdrops, artworked at full print scale
- Campaign wall displays, including the Quranic Encyclopedia panels
- Community campaign flyers โ including Muslim Youth League Canada’s Blood Drive
- Certificate design system for Minhaj School of Canada
The conference series
The organisation runs conferences all year, Milad un Nabi, Shahadat-e-Imam Hussain, Ghaus-e-Azam and more, each with different speakers, venues and audiences. We design every event flyer inside one visual family, rich Islamic pattern work, gold accents and a strong speaker hierarchy, while each conference keeps its own colour and mood. The series runs to dozens of events across Canada, designed season after season.
On stage and on the wall
Community gatherings are photographed and filmed from start to finish, so the stage backdrop carries the event’s identity into every picture and recording that leaves the hall. We design the large-format backdrops for the Canada chapters’ gatherings, including the 10 x 8 feet Gosha-e-Darood backdrop and the Ziafat-e-Milaad backdrop, artworked at full print scale. For the Quranic Encyclopedia campaign, the Canada team wanted a wall display that presents the set at architectural scale, and we artworked the 4 x 3.5 feet wall panels from the campaign’s own content documents through to print-ready files.
Community campaigns
The same system serves the community directly: Muslim Youth League Canada’s Blood Drive flyer, a direct appeal built around Canada’s Lifeline donor message, and the chapter’s published announcement and congratulations posts.
Selected work
From the conference series: the Shahadat-e-Imam Hussain Conference artwork and the Eid Milad Conference flyer (Milton).

On stage and on the wall: the Ziafat-e-Milaad and Gosha-e-Darood backdrops, and a Quranic Encyclopedia wall panel.

Community campaigns, and the school certificate system.

Flagship project
The certificate system stands as a project in its own right: Certificate Design: Minhaj School of Canada, a data-merged awards system that prints every student’s own name, course and dates from one design.
3 The Result
Dozens of events across Canada now run on one design system, from the first flyer to the backdrop behind the speakers.
