Social media design for Global Travel and Tours, Saudia Toronto to Jeddah launch post

1 The Problem

A Mississauga travel agency sells seasonal routes and Hajj and Ramadan travel all year, in a market where travellers compare five tabs at once. It needs a constant stream of on-brand social posts that stop the scroll, and a website that leads with ticketing.

2 Our Approach

We handle the agency’s social design as an ongoing account, airline announcements, seat sales, greetings and a Hajj and Ramadan advice series inside one recognisable brand style, and we designed and built its website around the same identity.

Global Travel & Tours is a travel agency in Mississauga, Canada. The Design PK runs its social media design as an ongoing account and designed and built its website, one brand style carried across every post, campaign and page, season after season.

Scope of work

  • Social media design — an ongoing, always-on design account
  • Airline announcements and seat-sale campaigns (Saudia, PIA)
  • Hajj & Ramadan advice series for pilgrims
  • Seasonal greetings — Eid, Defence Day and more
  • Website design and development — globaltravelandtours.ca

The social account

The agency sells seasonal routes and Hajj and Ramadan travel all year, and its feeds have to announce new routes, fares and seasons while staying one brand. We design the running series inside a single recognisable style: the Saudia “Toronto to Jeddah” launch, the PIA Toronto–Pakistan seat sale, “Welcome Back to Canada”, and greetings for Eid and Defence Day.

Alongside the offers runs an advice series that serves the agency’s pilgrims directly: how to prepare for Ramadan, health tips for Hajj pilgrims, protection against heat exhaustion and sun strokes, and shaving and haircutting tips, practical posts the agency’s audience saves and shares.

Selected work

From the running account: the PIA seat-sale post and the Welcome Back to Canada post.

Flagship project

The agency’s website stands as a project in its own right: Website Development: Global Travel & Tours. See also our web development service.

3 The Result

One design system now covers the agency’s website and its season-after-season social output, from fare announcements to the Hajj advice series.
